ICC's IgCC Aims to Make Saving Water and Energy Easy |
|
The International Code Council finalized the International Green Construction Code (IgCC) and is readying it for publication by Spring of 2012. The code includes many water- and energy-saving features that will be familiar with anyone who has followed other green codes, standards and programs. It also has provisions intended to make the code simple to follow without performing calculations. |

Code of Honor Scholarship Winner: Networking Key to Expanding Horizons |
|
To say that Valarie Loper was excited at the prospect of attending the International Code Council's Annual Conference this year in Phoenix was an understatement. Loper, Combination Inspector for the City of North Las Vegas and soon-to-be first vice president of the ICC’s Southern Nevada Chapter, noticed the Code Council Foundation again was offering Code of Honor Scholarships.
